COVID 19 Notice to Patients

Redcliffe Physiotherapy is committed to providing the best possible care and treatment for all our clients, while also working hard on maintaining a safe workplace.

We, at Redcliffe Physiotherapy, are committed to ensuring that all of our patients feel welcome in the clinic, ensuring an inclusive environment without prejudice of gender, ethnicity or culture.

At this stage of the Covid Pandemic, as of January 2022, it is important that we look after your health and wellbeing. We want all our clients to feel safe when they enter our practice so we can provide them with treatment, and therefore have implemented conditions of practice for the clinic team and our patients.

We are still maintaining strict PPE protocols during all our consultations for both staff and clients, to ensure that all clients that come to our practice know they are safe. This includes physiotherapists, practice manager, physiotherapy assistants and patients  wearing masks at all times, and regular disinfection of common areas. Masks must be worn correctly as per the guide below.

If you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, please contact us ahead of your appointment so we can make alternate arrangements.

The entire Redcliffe Physio team is fully vaccinated for the health and safety of our patients – especially as we have a high number of vulnerable clients.

We are requesting that all patients and visitors to the clinics are up-to-date with their covid vaccine (double vaccinated or booster where possible).

What if I’m not vaccinated?

If you are unable to receive the COVID vaccine, please contact our clinic ahead of your appointment time. We will ask you to remain in your car in the adjoining car park until your appointment time, where we will ensure that your appointment room is thoroughly sanitised prior to and immediately after your appointment. Unvaccinated patients will be given additional attention in our mission to minimise contact and exposure to staff and patients as much as possible. Unvaccinated patients are required provide results showing a NEGATIVE PPC or RAT test taken within 48 hours ahead of their appointment time.

Please consider the following prior to attending our practice:

Have you been identified as a close contact or know you have had contact with a confirmed case?

If yes, please isolate and re-schedule your appointment. You can do this by calling 07 3284 9217 or emailing admin@redcliffephysio.com.au

Are you unvaccinated for Covid 19?

You will need to undertake a CPR Covid test and confirm your negative result (max 48 HOURS OLD) prior to attending any of your appointments

Have you had any flu-like symptoms or been unwell in the past 7 days?

If you have had any flu-like symptoms — sore throat, cough, and fever in the past week please call us and we will happily re-schedule your appointment, or confirm you have had a negative Covid Test prior to attending your next appointment

We understand that it is a stressful time, and we are all attempting to navigate a virus that is completely new to us. As a small business on the Redcliffe Peninsula, our main goal is to keep our team and our patients safe.

We realise that not everyone will agree with the measures we are putting in place, and we want to reassure you that we have made these decisions with the purest of intentions – that is keeping our most vulnerable safe.

If you disagree with any of our COVID procedures or conditions of entry, we ask that you reschedule your appointment until a time when we are able to accommodate your needs.
